This year 100% of the students received an offer from a New Zealand or Australian university. Of these 88% were offered a place at AUT University and 50% gained the marks required for entrance into The University of Auckland.
Many of the students received several offers from different universities both within New Zealand or Australia. This gave these students the luxury of being able to select the university course that best suited their needs.
Once again the Commerce and Business Faculty was the most popular faculty, attracting the majority of our students. However, this year students also chose to study property, bio-technology, engineering, applied science, nursing, teaching and arts degrees. Several students opted for the AUT University’s Bachelor of International Hospitality.
Congratulations to our top student, TRUONG Quynh Chi, for her excellent results; she achieved the top mark in two of her five subjects. NGUYEN Giang, 2nd overall, also attained excellent marks. Both of these young women will study at The University of Auckland, one choosing Science the other Commerce.

In 2006, 97% of TAFY students received an offer from a New Zealand or Australian university.
Many of the students received several offers from different universites both within New Zealand and Australia. This gave these students the luxury of being able to select the university course that best suited their needs.
Five of our top students plan to study at The University of Melbourne in Australia. Six of the students offered a place at Monash University also gained a University National Scholarship award.
Once again the Commerce and Business Faculty attracted the majority of our students. However this year, students also chose to study architecture, law, engineering, science, nursing and arts degrees.

Congratulations to our top student, Yana Krivykh, for her outstanding marks and also to the second overall student, Lei Lei, who attained top marks in Maths A and Maths B.
Both of these students are now studying Commerce at The University of Auckland. Lee Yoon Suk, the top accounting student, was offered a Bachelor of Commerce at The University of Melbourne.
