At Taylors, you are our overriding priority. Throughout your time with us we do everything possible to ensure you are happy, secure and confident. We know that happy students are better students.
At Taylors we understand that making the decision to study abroad is not an easy one. We understand how you feel and we are here to support you.
We've prepared some basic information about what you need to know before arriving at your campus.
Much of our early support involves carefully and actively helping you to adapt to life in a new country. We have helped thousands of students through their initial excitement, confusion with transport or money, learning of new social customs and possible homesickness.
We know what to expect and how to help. We will ensure that you, like the thousands we have already helped, will come to love and embrace life in Australia or New Zealand.
If you are under the age of 18, you are required to have a Caregiver. Taylors Caregivers are contracted to provide a list
of services to you and your parents, including an initial contact visit followed by regular contact by telephone.
We have a well-established network of people and a range of programs in place to advise and assist students with problems associated with study, health issues, career and personal matters. Each campus has a Student Welfare Coordinator who is available to assist with a variety of academic and personal problems. These counsellors monitor academic progress and assist wherever necessary.
Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) - Australia
If you choose to study in Australia, you must have OSHC. OSHC ensures you have adequate health care arrangements whilst you are studying in Australia. Taylors College will arrange your OSHC with your enrolment.
StudyCare insurance
As a professional organisation, we take the security of our students very seriously. This is why Taylors College also offers an additional insurance policy designed to complement OSHC.
A range of quality living options to suit all budgets is available to you.
